Hello everyone. My Name is Dominik Loehrmann and I am from Bonn in Germany. I study Asian Studies at Bonn University. I took a year off from University to go to Japan and make a Working Holiday. I came to Fukuoka in May 2009 to study Japanese at Asahi Nihongo for 6 Weeks. After that I traveled around in Japan and worked in many different places like vegetable farms, vineyards, pensions and nature schools. I had a great time during my travels and learned a lot. But I decided to go back to Fukuoka because, until now, it’s the place I like best in Japan, thanks to the great time I had at Asahi Nihongo. I really enjoyed staying and studying here because of the really familiar atmosphere.
As I was looking for work here in Fukuoka, I saw job offer for a job as a German teacher at Asahi Nihongo.
So from September on I will accompany Alex during German lessons and hopefully hold lessons by myself in the near future. I am really looking forward to meet new people and teach German at Asahi Nihongo.
