Outdoor Activitiy in Yame City

Last time we went with the school to Yame. Yame is a little bit outside of Fukuoka but a very calm and friendly place. At first we went to a house, which was rebuild by Groundwork.
There we met some people who showed us how to build a Kadomatsu.
From Wikipedia: A Kadomatsu (lit. "gate pine") is a traditional Japanese decoration out of bamboo of the New Year placed in pairs in front of homes supposedly to welcome ancestral spirits or kami of the harvest.)

That was really funny! And at the end we had enough for the school and of our school apartments.
After that we went to the children's museum in Yame to eat Lunch and play a little bit,
but we also had to work there. At the evening we had to cook dinner for 40 people with German dishes and because we are in Yame and together with people from Groundwork we had to dig our own potato's. But whenever you have to do such work and you are together with friends, the work is not that hard, its fun! Also all that cooking. We stand inside of the kitchen for 4h!!!
But because everyone worked together, it was fun and at the end we had a delicious meal and a lovely evening.
