today I want to write about my first experience at a Japanese gas station.
Last weekend I rent a car to make a trip around Kumamoto with its beautiful viewing points. When I was near Mt. Aso I recognized that I should gas up my car. Fortunately I find a station very soon. But I didn't expect that their system is totally different from Germany. I wondered that the gas pistols were positioned on the ceiling.I tried to catch them and jumped around the pistols....embarassing move!!! People around me laughed.
Than a service staff came and helped me, he only pushed a button- the pistol moved down and I could tank up my car. I feld like a "tipical gaijin"!!!
