Interview

Today's interviewee is Ali-san. He is a water sports instructor for swimming, wake-board, wind surfing, water skiing and etc.

-Where are you from?
●I'm from Male in Maldives.

-Why do you study Japanese?
●I must learn Japanese. It's important for me to work here in Japan and also in Male. When I explain the instruction for water sports activities to the Japanese tourists I need to speak Japanese. I have another reason because my wife is Japanese so I'd like to communicate with her parents in Japanese.

-How do you feel about the lessons at Asahi Nihongo?
●It's good! Before I came to this school I know nothing but now my Japanese is becoming better.

-Do you study at home?
●Yes, I review what I learned and study writing Japanese charactors and reading at my own pace.

He always comes to school 30 minutes before the class stars and he is very enthusiastic about studying.
