We interviewed Yumiko-san from the southern part of Germany.
-Why are you interested in Japan?
●I have Japanese first name because my mother is Japanese so I'm interested in Japanese culture and the language naturally.
-Do you speak Japanese with your mother?
●Yes, when I was a child, but gradually I feel more comfortable to speak German than Japanese.
-What do you usually do after school?
●I go shopping and go sightseeing such as Ohori Park, Fukuoka Tower, Dazaifu and so on.
Tenjin Chikagai (the underground shopping mall) is interesting because we don't have like that in Germany.
-What did you buy for souvenir?
●I bought Japanese food such as Nori, Wakame (seaweeds), Miso soup.
-How do you feel about "Japanese Language School Asahi Nihongo"?
●I focus on grammar and speaking this time. I enjoy myself here and I think both skills improved.
Thank you, Yumiko-san. We hope you could buy nice Japanese food a lot and had good memories in Japan!
