In Fukuoka you can find many Yatais around the river and streets. Yatais are small foodstalls where you can enjoy delicious dishes from Fukuoka, like Hakata Ramen or Soba. People like it because of their simple and unique style. You can have dinner in a cozy atmosphere and it feels like eating with your family and friends. So I decided to invite my American friend to have a BBQ-dinner at one of these Yatais. It was very oishiiiii!!! We drank Asahi beer and talked to the owner of the yatai in Japanese of course. He told me that my Japanese was very good and I felt very proud in front of my American friends!! We had a lot of fun until I got the bill....2 persons, small BBQ-Mix, 2 beers and 7200 Yen??? The owner looked serious and friendly so he wasn't wrong, I guessed....so I payed! Later I realized that he was a cheat...oh nooooo!!!
