Yesterday, Alex - the proprietor of Asahi Nihongo - and I met some new people. When we talked to one of them, he asked us where we were from and what we do in Japan.
I answered : "Oh, we are from Germany and I study Japanese here!"
HE asked:" Really? I` ve been here in Fukuoka for a while and I used to study Japanese too! What is your school called?"
ALEX:" It` s Asahi Nihongo in Tenjin!"
THE GUY: "Ah, Asahi Nihongo?! Yeah, I know the owner!! When you live in Fukuoka for a while, you`ll get to know all Gaijin here!"
We left with a big smile on our faces - he surely does know the owner - because he was standing right in front of him!!!
