An Australia Day is an official national day of Australia and it is also known as an Anniversary Day, and Foundation Day.
It is cerebrated on 26th of January, the date commemorates the arrival of the first fleet at Sydney Cove in .
Students from Tasmania brought many flags to the school to cerebrate an Australian Day!
The Australian way of cerebrating the day is "barbecue on the beach" and "stake and beer" according to Asahi Nihongo Students:)
It is summer in Australia now so barbecue on the beach must be a great fun!
Australian day seems to be the day friends and family gather all together and enjoy the moment.
Those Australian flags will be also used on the final soccer match from Asian Cup on 29th of January!
It will be Japan vs Australia!
