Last Friday(March 4th), we had welcome party at Asahi Nihongo school. At the party, about 30 students from Japan, Germany, Austria and Denmark came to our party. Everyone enjoyed talking with each other while drinking and eating.
The "Okonomiyaki" Junko sensei made was favorably received!"Pocky" was popular with German girls. I didn't know but, I heard that the Japanese company Glico's, Pocky is called MIKADO when sold in Germany and other parts of Europe.
At first, some Japanese students looked nervous, but they gradually became opened up to our foreign students.
The party grew livelier without even drinking alcohol! We had a pleasant evening.
