Our city, Fukuoka is famous throughout Japan as a culinary capital.
Visitors praise Fukuoka as a place of delicious and affordable food.
Yesterday our student, Susanne joined our Japanese cooking activity.
She cooked Japanese omelet, blowfish, Tempura, Miso soup, sashimi(sliced raw fish) and papaya jelly with our cooking teacher, Inai sensei.
I made an interview for Susanne.
-How was the Japanese cooking activity?
I had a lot of fun cooking Japanese dishes.
While I learned Japanese cooking , I could speak Japanese too.
It was a good practice of conversation.
-What kind of dishes do you want to try next time?
I want to try everything!
At first I was afraid of eating Japanese dishes.
But I tried to eat all things and now I like Japanese dishes very much.
I don't want to eat another food than Japanese food.
-What is your favorite food in Fukuoka?
I like Tempura, Oden and of course Ramen!
In Fukuoka I tried to eat Ramen for the first time in my life.
It was very delicious OISHII !!!

The most favorite foods in Fukuoka is Ramen noodles.
The styles of ramen noodles vary a lot throughout Japan, but Fukuoka’s Tonkotsu (pork bone soup) ramen is the best !
