We had an interview with Daniel-san from Sandersdorf-Brehna in Germany.
-Why are you interested in Japan or Japanese?
●I was interested in 'Shogi'(Japanese chess) at first, but I couldn't understand Japanese character 'Kanji' on Shogi pieces. That was the beginning to learn Japanese. I'm a programmer so Japanise grammar and its language structure, which are completely different from the languages in Europe, are very fascinating to me.
-How long have you been studying Japanese?
●5 years by myself.
-Is this the first time to come to Japan?
●I've been in Japan for sightseeing and this is the second time. I've got a Japanese colleague from Fukuoka so Fukuoka is familiar with me.
-What would you like to do during staying here?
●I enjoy myself. I went on a trip to Nagasaki, went to watch soccer game of Avispa and so on. I like to walk around and go to a bar with my friends and drink beer.
-Is there something that you don't like during staying in Fukuoka?
●No. Nothing.
After he finishes his Japanese course this Friday, he's going back to Germany for work, but soon after he's going on a business trip to USA. It seems the world is very small for him. Have a nice trip, Daniel-san!
