One day my host mother asked me if I like "Natto". At first I didn't understand but I tried to translate it...mmmmh "Natto", what does it mean? Than I imagined "Natto" was the japanese pronounciation for nuts. So I answered "Yes of course I love Natto" . She was surprised about my positive reaction and promised me a traditional Japanese Natto Dinner for tonight. I was really looking forward to try Japanese nuts!!! But when I saw that slimy mixture I was a little bit disappointed. Of course I tried it, but I couldn't cover my disgusted face...Next time I will be better prepared!!
