Interview with the Skype Teacher
We interviewed Asahi Nihongo Japanese Skype teacher; Ms. Koto Miyagawa. We introduce what she likes to do and what she thinks of Skype.
-What are your hobbies?
●I like climbing mountains. I recommend Mt.Homan located in Fukuoka. Except for it, I also like talking with people.
-What's good about Fukuoka?
●I think Fukuoka has Japanese-inspired things with good balance. You can enjoy the modern and traditional aspect of the city, culture, food, nature and so on.
-What food do you recommend in Fukuoka?
●I recommend Hakata Ramen. You can eat at 'Yatai'(food stall on the street) or Ramen restaurant with reasonable price.
-How long have you been teaching? Do you like teaching?
●I've taught at Elementary school, Junior High school, and High school for 7 years, and now I also teach Japanese at Skype. I like teaching very much.
-What's the merit about Skype?
●It's good for the student because they can have lessons privately through Skype so that they can study at their own pace.
-Will you please give the message to students?
● Even if you are away from Japan, you can feel the atmosphere of Asahi Nihongo, Fukuoka or Japan at Skype lessons. I look forward to seeing you at the lessons in Fukuoka!
It's nice message. Thank you, Koto-san. If you'd like to know more about Koto-san, why don't you join our Skype lessons and ask her!
