“KIMINO” “YUKATA” and “JINBEI”

I will explain the difference amongst “KIMONO”, “YUKATA” and “JINBEI”.

First, “KIMONO” is the Japanese traditional and formal costume.  Getting dressed in a KIMONO is also a formal “Procedure”.  When we attend a “Tea ceremony”, we often wear “KIMONO”.

Next, “YUKATA” is a “KIMONO”.  It is summer costume and the most informal style of “KIMONO”.  When we go to a Fireworks Display, we often wear “YUKATA”.
“YUKATA” is not as expensive as “KIMONO”.

Lastly, “JINBEI” is one of the “KIMONO” too.  It is the most popular among young people.  But it is generally worn men and children.  It is easy and comfortable to wear.
